We loved our stay at Belle Normandy. The location is perfect, with beautiful grounds right on the edge of town, only a five minute walk to the cathedral and all the shops and restaurants. Our kids enjoyed the basketball hoop and would have stayed at the hotel much longer if they could have! The staff were amazing. They were friendly and helpful on recommendations, and they also seem very proud of the hotel, which was renovated from an old school. It is a very special place, and I highly recommend it.

The room was big enough for a couple. We were staying with a great view of the street. The hotel looks very clean and charming. Nice furniture, plumbing, fresh flowers. Fresh linen, new plumbing. Everything is made with the soul of its owner. Each room has its own name. We had Chambre Gold Beach. The breakfast was very good. Continental. Fresh coffee, croissants, fruits, cheeses. Bayeux Cathedral is just a 2 min by walk from the hotel. The Carpet Museum is just a 1 min walk away. We liked everything in the hotel and in the city.

Carole the host was fantastic. The location is close to everything in town, and Carole gave us some good tips on where to go. The breakfast was 5 stars. Cleanliness was fantastic and towels were changed when needed.Great place to stay if you go to Bayuex.

Location is a few steps away from Bayeux Tapestry museum and many good restaurants (try to book in advance as they have good business!)
