Charming small town in the heart of the Rodopi mountain. Great place for short or long holiday. Child friendly eco path Struilica. I don’t recommend the waterfall for small children unless you want to carry them on your back 20 min up the hill and same down. We made that mistake and the parents and the children had to skip the beauty of the remaining path which they could have easily walked. Nice swimming pool with hot mineral water at the beginning of the eco path. We ate at Royal restaurant- the prices were good and food was tasty. First of all, Devin has a unique culinary scenery.
First of all, Devin has a unique culinary scenery. Second, it's a perfect starting point for nature experiences - there are caves nearby including Devil's Throat Cave, in which is the highest subterranean waterfall on the Balkans and Yagodinska cave, which is 10 km long and is a home to 11 species of bats. Nearby is the Trigrad Gorge, which is a canyon with vertical marble rocks up to 400 m high. Pamporo ski resort is also not far away. The town is also a home to many mineral water springs, and a few km away there is a natural carbonated water spring.

GO to the Rodopa Mountain and you’ll fall in love with it! Devin is a perfect place (location-wise) to stay as a hub to visit all the places worth seeing. For a four-five day stay you can do short trips to almost all places on your “to do” list.

Devin is a lovely little town with a lot of nature surrounding it. There is very little to do in the town itself but for nature lovers it is a great location with a lot of places to go to within 1/2 an hour drive.gabiIsrael - 8.0Scored 8.0

It is a place from where you can easily reach Yagodinska cave, Devil's throat cave, Trigrad, Eagle's eye etc. We had no time to enjoy the mineral springs but the nature around was definitely beautiful!MariyaBelgium

There is a spacious kitchen with a stove, fridge and a kettle, lots of kitchenware, places to make grill and a big common dining area. I also had a small fridge in my room. Everything is clean and neat. The look from the balcony was gorgeous, you can enjoy all the night sky and stars. The window has mosquito net. Though I stayed in summer - I saw the central heating inside the room for a winter period. The hosts were helpful.

Both bedrooms are spacious enough, the beds are comfortable, the kitchen is equipped with all necessary appliances, the bathroom is modern and very clean. There is a renovated kids playground right in front of the building, our kids were very happy about it. A free parking lot, few restaurants and supermarkets are nearby too.The host was extremely polite and easy to communicate with. 🙂

The property is extremely clean. The staff, middle age lady that also speaks Spanish was so nice, polite and helpful. we had a wonderful dinner, Bulgarian cuisine and my daughter have a great vegetarian meal. This was the best value for money of any place I ever stayed, and that’s a lot. Only a 30 minute drive to the cave. I give Kris GH 9.9 points.davidUnited States of America

The apartment was recently renovated and it's also quiet and close to everything (Devin is a small city). Although we didn't meet the host, he was always responding to our requests promptly, and helped us with everything.
