San Andres has the third coral reef in the world, just that is enough for you to enjoy the trip if you like snorkling or scuba diving. One tour is the one in the pontom were they take you out to different islands and you can go down and explore more the ocean. It is a paradise the color of the water is something out of this world so relaxing. They are excellents restaurants to enjoy and choose from. Even if you like shopping there is a variety of stores.

Beautiful Island, love the sand and clear water.
I spend my time at the beach.
Also going to the aquarium and see the different fish and the beauty of the under sea was my favorite adventure.
Next time I will stay longer to go around the island.
The apartment #402 at Bay Point Punta Hansa was fantastic, beautiful, love the place and the area. specially the view from the Balcony.

Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing.
Wonderful island!! Beaches are amazing. Just be aware of the night tours, they offer a party show in a cruise and this is a very bad experience and expensive for tourists. The drinks served in the ship are bad quality and a lot of people were sick afterwards. There is no show or animator, its just a way to rip off tourists

Moving from Hotel San Luis Place to a different hotel was my best decision. My second hotel La Reina del Mar was located on a lovely palm tree lined sandy beach. The beach was cleaned daily and had access to a bar and restaurant staffed by extremely polite and friendly staff.

Loved the water. The tours were great.
Loved the water. The tours were great. There is placed call white water and i love it. What i dislike of San Andrés is that some places were so dirty. Buildings need to be repair. Shops should sell clothes for people of plus size and should be more accesible for handicapped. I will definitely come back to San Andrés because of the beautiful water and the beautiful people. I was impressed how people in the island speaks several languages
the location is great if you want to be outside of the noisy hustle bustle of the city, while also easy to get into the city, very close to local bus that goes all around the island. 5 mins walk to beautiful beaches! In a quiet neighborhood, mini market also very close. Facilities are clean and well taken care of! Air condition works well! WiFI is great! Monica, the host, is incredibly helpful and and quick to respond to all questions and needs!!! Please do yourself a favor and stay at ohana lodge when you visit San Andres!
The house and decor are beautiful and it is one of the only hotels on the island with hot water.
The day before we arrived my husband called ahead to make sure that the restaurant would be open from the 26-29 (our stay) and they assured him that it would. However, when we arrived they told us that it is not open on Sunday (the 26 was a Sunday). But after talking to them about the clear misunderstanding they agreed to make us some lunch, which was very nice. Unfortunately everything was downhill from there.
The gentleman that welcomed me was very pleasant. Either he’s a good hôtelier or he is naturally curious and open. The place itself, however, felt like a very cheap in-and-out weekender for undergrads. Don’t get me wrong: I stormed through these myself not long ago and god bless their existence. But it’s not an establishment where you want to rest and enjoy if you’re coming all the way to the beautiful archipelago of San Andrés.
The hotel is in a very good region from San Andres and close to many places. The hotel itself is nice, the pool is amazing and it has a small private beach.
However that rooms do not have hot water (it should be informed in the website before the reservation!). I stayed 5 days at the hotel and all of them I had to take cold shower at my room (beach view, one of the best suites…). And the staff don’t speak English.
Breakfast was across the street at Cocoplum Hotel which was great, good hot breakfast, delicious coffee. Location was fantastic! Lots of lizards to play with in the courtyard. Well kept premises. Housekeeping every day. Good restaurants nearby to walk to for lunch and dinner. Didn't need a car. Rented a "mule" small jeep for 1 day to go all over the island. Taxis were 25,000 COP and bus was 3,600 COP into downtown.
Apartment house in a residential neighborhood just minutes from San Andres airport. A spacious and properly equipped clean room includes a new air conditioner, refrigerator and a flat screen TV with movie channels also in English, a shower with good water pressure. The owner also helped us book a day trip to the nearby islands. The apartment house is 10 minutes walk from the beach.
The hotel is situated in a quite area but within 15 min drive you are in the center. The hotel itself has a super pretty pool area, the rooms are big and comfortable and the staff (especially Andres) is super friendly and supportive and helps to plan the stay on San Andres with all kind of activities.
This is probably the best hotel in San Andrés. They have a nice bar and restaurant, the pool on the top of the hotel is pretty good as well. Breakfast is OK, although the place was always crowded when we were there. The view from our room was great. The staff was helpful, the wifi was good as well.
The house is in a quiet part of the island and the owners are very nice people. You really feel welcome and I could have stayed much longer. Make sure you do your shopping in the centre before you go there so you can use the perfectly equipped kitchen.
Nice hotel ,good location,
Pros
Amazing food I'm a Michelin star chef and was really surprised by the food texture, flavour, presentation all there wouldn't expect that from a location like san Andrés,fair play to chefs and all team
My stay at El Viajero was great! The room was comfy, but the best part was the staff there! Always ready to help, and with a great and positive attitude! Specially Alejandro and Rakel! Thanks for always answering all my questions!
The staff was very helpful. Very nice cleaning lady and the host, Terence, was very helpful. He gave us good tips about the island. Next time we visit San Andres, we will definitely stay at Rocky Cay Lodging again.
Where toThe service from Stela is exceptional 10/10! The hotel is great, well equipped kitchen, where to hang clothes, towels, everything you need for an amazing staying in the island
