Great place to stay in Inari. Overlooking the lake & right next to the safari/activity centre. Good breakfast, comfortable beds & friendly staff. Only downside was the limited TV channels (not that we went to Finland to watch English TV) & limited cleaning/towel change etc. When we visit Inari again we will stay here

First of all the concept in itself is great to put a cabin in the middle of the lake and watch the northern lights. The hosts are wonderful and their willingness to share their knowledge is great for the stay.

The accommodation is in an ideal location for viewing the Northern Lights – we saw them for three consecutive days! It's also close to the river, and the heating, fireplace, and sauna allowed us to experience the Arctic Circle lifestyle. Laundry facilities were convenient, and it should be equally enjoyable in the summer!
Featuring a sauna, Cabin at Huskies Farm is located in Inari. This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The holiday home has a picnic area and a sauna.

We arrived in the evening and immediately saw the Auroras above the lake. Pure magic. If you want to experience the serenity of the finnish wilderness, you will love every detail of this cabin. It was cosy, warm, beds were comfortable.

All four of us loved the cabin itself! Located at about a 15-min drive from Inari town, this cabin is perfect for anyone looking to get away from anything, in the summer or in the winter. We went there in December, and as you can see from some of the pictures, it's situated at the edge of the lake and has a wonderful view. It was comfortable enough for 4 people. The kitchen was stocked with all the pots and pans you would need along with some basic condiments. The attached sauna is a great additional feature to have. Because the cabin is so far away from everything else, you will be able to see the northern lights in the winter from the deck of the cabin itself, as we did, provided you are lucky enough.
This Finnish Lapland property offers traditional cabins and a waterfront sauna next to Lake Inari. Guests can enjoy free parking and a beautiful setting surrounded by nature.

You’re in the middle of nowhere surrounded by over 100 huskies. How amazing! The dogs are all so kind, you can pet them all. We had a bbq in the communal huts, where you can make your fire and hang out. Good breakfast. It was such a great experience!
Don’t expect luxury though. There is an eco toilet in the cabin, but no kitchen or shower. Washing is done in the sauna, if you need. We prepared our tea on the wood fire in the cabin.

We went on a snowmobiling trip and a dog sledding trip. We liked both but really enjoyed the dog sledding more. The cabins on the lake at night, when the northern lights came out, were perfect. Yes it was cold but we could go in an out of the cabins and take pictures as the northern lights waxed and waned. Truly a fabulous adventure that cannot be replicated at a hotel.

Pretty little town, beautiful nature, very few people in the streets. Northern lights!!
Not many places to eat or to go out to, but it wasn't a problem for us. There's also a big museum and a cultural center there, hotels, a souvenir shop and supermarkets, and generally many things specially for the tourists. There is apparently no public bus going between Inari and the Ivalo airport (only Inari and the Ivalo town), but it's possible to book a shuttle bus.

We stayed at Hotel Inari.
We stayed at Hotel Inari. View over huge lake from hotelroom and restaurant - and you can walk by foot or snowshoes or skis on the lake or ride snow mobile. Mini villlage, totally quiet, yet supermarket just across the road and tours in the area starting next door without any disturbance. Nice room, good breakfast though a bit crowded for Covid conditions at least at rush time (9 am) and probably winter holiday in Finland. Much much better to go to Inari than to Ivalo. Very friendly and helpful people, and many wonderful tours available.

Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari.
Kind of remote town middle of nowhere, next to lake Inari. Not much to do if you'd like to downhill skiing or party but if one likes nature, calmness and clean, healthy atmosphere, then Inari is beautiful place. Especially during winter months. Dogsled rides, cross country skiing or such.

Great staff. They guided us to an extraordinary location for spotting the Northern lights, and we did! Perfect apartment with everything you need. I just loved the way they were prepared for my one year old - perfect crib and kid-friendly moomin cutleries. Beds are extraordinarily comfy - top class — 5 star hotel level. Proper siZed kitchen. Larger than traditional kitchens. A minute walk from the hypermarket.
Whole apartment is so clean and exactly the same as you see in the pictures.
I liked everything about my stay there starting from how friendly the people are to how unique the experience is of staying the night in a mobile cabin in the middle of a frozen lake. many thanks to Sampsa, Esko and his wife in making our stay an unforgettable experience. They made us feel like home, arranged for us an activity (snow mobile) to do in the evening and prepared a very delicious barbecue dinner in front of a nice fireplace
We loved the house, it was perfectly clean and beautiful. All the amenities provided were great. We enjoyed Reindeers that visited us daily morning during our breakfast. It was most unique experience we had. It's very near to SIIDA museum and lake Inari. Juutua trail starts just outside the house which was a plus point. It's a great trail. You will enjoy the stay if you like to stay inside the woods. Very comfortable cottage.
Cosy and squeaky clean cabin, with some sleek design and a good private sauna. Just a short walk from shops and restaurants. Right next to Lake Inari, a good location for seeing northern lights. (I feel that some of the less positive reviews in the past were written when construction work was still ongoing, but the site looks completed now and most of the issues from those reviews no longer apply.)
The location was perfect! In the forest and in front of a beautiful lake. Private beach. We were alone, without neighbours and had our own cottage. There is also a place for barbecue. Dogs welcome, and our dogs were very happy there.
There is a dry toilet by the cottage, and a normal toilet further away where you have shared showers and even a sauna.
The property was conveniently located to the Siida site which was our main purpose for the trip to Inari.
it was clean and comfortable.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
They answered many questions I had in the days between the booking and our arrival.
The location is great, you can get all things around and they provide different daily necessities in the house. It is very clear and tidy, you can feel it like home. Thanks for the great memory to us in Inari, this is the beat place we have had in finland.
Esko was a great host. There is a really nice, comfy and cozy common area, great finish sauna. We had a basic ski lesson from Esko, and he tought us a lot about the area and Finland in general. Sleeping ia cabine in the lake is very special experience.
It was very good to have paused at Inari after a long drive before continue to the northeast point in north Finland, the property is simple but nice quiet and close to Inari center, clean comfortable bed and all what you need for basic stay
Amazing location. We could observe aurora lights from the lake Paatari nearby. The road can be a bit tricky if the weather is bad (snow storm).
The house is also beautiful. The Jacuzzi is very nice. The morning view is appeasing.
The view from the lake is great. The bathroom is good. It is clean. They open the roads for car and walk. The breakfast in the main hotel is good and also the dinner. The staff in the main hotel’s restaurant was kind and helpful.
The owner Satu is a very lovely host.
The location of the hotel is perfect, it's very close to literally everything.
The room was clean, the beds comfortable.
If I come to Inari a second time, I will definitely stay here again.
the service is excellent and staff very friendly! second oldest hotel in Finland. the restaurant is a must, compliments to the chef! absolute value for money in a country where a lot of tourist services are heavily overpriced!
We've been staying in Visit Inari Hotel Inari several times enjoying it very much.Very friendky, attentive, and helpful staff! Comfortable rooms. Great restaurant.
