This is a fantastic place to stay. The family that run the hotel were so warm and welcoming. The food was great and they absolutely went out of their way to make our stay extra special. Highly recommend. The location is also beautiful. A gorgeous lake with lots of wildlife. My kids loved trying to spot all the wild rabbits. We will definitely stay again.

The room was beautiful as well as comfortable. The mini refrigerator was a nice bonus and there were plates and cutlery for our midnight snack. Very thoughtful indeed.

I was amazed at the size of the room, tried looking for dust as everything seemed too good to be true and couldn't find any. 10/10 would definitely recommend
Yeovil looks as though it has had the guts ripped out of it.
Yeovil looks as though it has had the guts ripped out of it. At the top of town there are a lot of empty and semi-derelict retail properties. The area in the middle is apparently undergoing renovation but again has a large number of empty and derelict properties, including an entire shopping mall. Out of 9 properties in Middle Street, 7 were Betting Shops or Charity shops. Early Sunday morning shows the unfortunate "dwellers" in the town centre- hardly an advert for "come and visit". This is a sad indictment on both Yeovil and society in general.
I would add however that the A&E Department at the Hospital were excellent - full marks.

Sadly, Yeovil town centre is awful.
Sadly, Yeovil town centre is awful. Around half the shops are boarded up/closed down and most of the pedestrianised area is fenced off due to works that have been "in progress" for about 4 years (according to locals). Whilst there might be pleasant areas within the town, there were none to be found right in the central shopping district.

Nice area but Yeovil was busier than I expected.
Nice area but Yeovil was busier than I expected.
Lovely country park but car parking signs were extremely hard to follow or even see / spot once in Yeovil. This could have been due to road works within the town. However, don't let this put you off visiting the country park as it is a liitle gem pratically within the centre of town.

Yeovil is fairly central in the west country and one can go in all directions from the Boho flat….very convenient. Yeovil isn’t a pretty town .
Some very good Italian restaurants and other places to eat.

Found the shopping centre a bit dull.
Found the shopping centre a bit dull. Covid has damaged the area, with many empty shops. Hilly, be prepared for a hike.
Many pubs to visit and enjoy a carvery, ploughman’s or just an ale amongst the locals.
Yeovil seemed a bit quiet, but the Room and facilities and amazing shower made my stay very comfortable. Great breakfast in modern classy dining area.
My only concern was parking .. Booking.com showed Free Parking, but it was only after booking I found it was limited first come first served Parking. I couldn’t see the Parking Locations map in reception mentioned and the first 2 car parks said max one hr parking! I did find and overnight Carl park but spent over half hour sorting a parking space out.
forget staying in a hotel in Yeovil stay here . The apartment is immaculate , comfortable , beautifully decorated & has every facility you need & some lovely touches like throws in baskets little bowls of sweets lovely scented soaps etc . As it was the run up to Christmas there were Christmas lights & a Christmas reef . it’s also right on the edge of the woods & yet right in town . perfect . Will stay again
I had a small double room with en suite. I booked for 1 night only so it was quite satisfactory. the room was very clean with tea & coffee provided. The only staff I saw were at reception when I checked in & out. I didn't go anywhere other than in my room so don't know what the rest of the hotel is like. I was on a very short visit to Yeovil which is why I cant comment on some of the questions.
Truly wonderful place to stay. From the silence you would never know you where so close to Yeovil Town Centre. Wonderful setting on a tranquil farm with lovely views. The apartment was stunning. A real Wow factor as you enter the door. Quality detail to all furnishings and fixtures. Dressing Gowns, Slippers and toiletries were a luxurious touch for a self catering unit.
Room was nice and clean. TV was good, but the remote didn't work and once I had got undressed and into bed I din't want to get dressed again in order to go and ask for new batteries. With the room being situated away from the main hotel, there was no problem with noise, despite the hotel having a live music event that night.
This property is in a great location and only a short drive to the town centre. The apartment is very clean, comfy and fully equipped with everything you could need. To top it off the host is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Will definitely stay here again when travelling for work.
Evening meal and breakfast were both excellent.
Service in the restaurant was very good.
Plenty of variation on the Menu's.
All staff were friendly and very helpful.
We would stay again at The Manor Hotel if in the area on another visit.
We had everything we needed for our stay, the hotel itself is in the town centre so great location for us. Our room was clean (& warm!), the bed was comfortable, really easy check in & friendly staff, we'd definitely stay here again.
This hotel is really nice, with friendly and courteous staff who go over and above to please their customers. We have stayed here quite a few times when visiting Yeovil and wouldn't think twice about booking it every time.
Stayed for two nights with family for my sons wedding. Manor Hotel was reception venue. Made to feel welcome and staff very friendly and helpful. Helped made the day special
Great hotel, Breakfast was cooked fresh, the Bar had a great selections of Gins available. Bedroom was perfect, lovely little peaceful village setting.
