We stayed in Santorini for 8 days whichw as too long.
We stayed in Santorini for 8 days whichw as too long. We did a trip to Crete for only 4 days and should have switched that around as Crete is a much bigger island with more to do.
In Santorini we booked taxis ahead of time for transfers and we ended up catching buses in between which was much cheaper and more fun!
Weather in October was nice but chilly in the evenings.

You never needed to travel for the Sunset while staying at FIROSTFANI! It was the best spot for photos. The restaurants were all equally amazing especially with the views of the caldera. Getting around was not a problem if you wanted to take the bus or catch a taxi. The month of September was pretty perfect since you did not need to deal with all the hustle and bustle of the tourists.

We stayed here in Firostefani for 3 nights.
We stayed here in Firostefani for 3 nights. We really enjoyed it. Firostefani is the perfect town to stay at in Santorini imo. It isn't crowded like Fira or Oia. It's not too quiet like Imerovigli either. It has some shops and restaurants, but nothing too busy or noisy.

A really central location with terrific caldera views!
A really central location with terrific caldera views! Depending on where you stay, there are some places In Firostefani that require fewer steps to navigate compared to other locations along the caldera. There are also some great restaurants at reasonable prices.

I really do not like Firostefani any more.
I really do not like Firostefani any more. I have been there 3 times, the first time in 2005 when I really loved it. The second time, in 2015, I still liked it, however, I would not go back there any more. Too many tourists. Five huge cruise liners would drop off their passengers each day and, together with the tourists staying on the island it became a bit of a nightmare. We did travel throughout the entire island with a hire car, which was great, and also undertook a an afternoon cruise on a yacht, which was fantastic.
The location is 10 mins walk from Fira bus stop and in a quite place. The apartment is spacious and host lady was very courteous and helpful. You have a sea view from the apartment's balcony but its not the view you go to Santorini for. To get the view of Sunset and all the breathtaking panoramic views you have to walk out of the apartment, walk for 2 minutes. It s the opposite side of the sea that you see in the pictures. Nevertheless, If you are looking for quite, value for money place to stay, this is just the right place.
This hotel is located right on the caldera rim in Santorini and the views are spectacular. The hosts were wonderful and welcoming with lots of lovely inclusions including drinks in the mini bar and a local dessert wine. The rooms are very comfortable and include a small sink and refrigerator and a balcony to look at that amazing view. The breakfast included in the rate was amazing with fresh fruits and pastries along with a toastie, small pancakes, boiled egg - I could go on and on.
You’ve got a great view from your hotel room and the pool area of the caldron. Sunsets are amazing. The room is wonderful. There’s public parking lot across the street from the hotel. There’s about 40-50 steps down from the street to the hotel. You are a 20 minute walk to the main shopping area on Santorini. This hotel is centrally located, but outside of the busy shopping district of Fira, but close enough to get there quickly. The room has an amazing sunset and caldron view.
Location perfectly located in the center of Firostefani very close to the main shops, bars and bus station. The apartment is just like you can imagine a Greek place. White and blu, warm, big enough and with sea view. I have no words to describe how kind and friendly Katerina is. She helped us in everything by keeping the luggages and late check in. She is very kind. This place is highly recommended for a perfect stay in Santorini. Thank you Katerina.
This property was a complete hidden gem in Santorini. Beautifully furnished, modern and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay. The jacuzzi tub was an amazing feature and we used it almost every day. Zoe was awesome, was always there to answer our questions and even help us book an ATV rental. Highly recommend for anyone who is planning a trip to Santorini.
The holiday was perfect. The hotel has a wonderful view over the caldera and is in a strategic position for getting around the island. Having breakfast in the morning with a view of the Santorini sea is a unique experience. The hotel is neat and clean. The staff are friendly and Panos is very willing to cater for every need. I will definitely be back.
It’s located in Firostefani, just a nice walk from Thira. Located up in a hill, so climing back and forth for the room not needed. It’s a quiet and small hotel with magnificent view - just to get right Santorini feeling. There is no pool but that didn’t bother us. Enjoyd their famous sunsets right from balcony. Easily could stay there again.
On the day of the arrival the receptionist was really friendly and gave us a map and indications of the most attractive spots in Santorini. The room was great with a cute balcony and the hotel had a nice swimming pool. Overall was a great price/quality relationship and the staff was always very helpful making it a great place to stay!
What can I say other than wow! Dana Villas far exceeded our expectations and then some! From the moment we arrived, the staff and facilities were sublime and not to mention the views. We got married in Santorini and stayed at Dana as our honeymoon period, we couldn’t have been more looked after- you have to stay here!
Amazing view, stylish room. Dramatic small pool. Incredibly picturesque hotel. Kostas on reception was SOOO lovely and funny. He put a third chair on the balcony for us so we could enjoy the sunset and breakfast as a family. Perfect for our last night treat in Greece before flying home from Santorini airport.
The staff were always friendly and helpful.
the hotels location was perfect - just a beautiful stroll to the main town. Our room was very authentic to Santorini’s architecture and the balcony had the magical views of the Caldera.
The pool was perfect in size and always in the sun. So very sad to leave
I had an absolutely enchanting stay at Remvi Suites in Santorini. The breathtaking views of the caldera from my room were nothing short of magical. The warm hospitality, luxurious amenities, and impeccable service made it a truly unforgettable experience. Specially Efi, who is heart of this hotel!
Value for money. Excellent location for FIrostefani, the Caldera view and the Fira town center. Comfortable room with balcony. Very clean. Towels were changed daily. Very friendly hosts. Would definitely book here again. Best room in Santorini we have stayed.
The room clean and spacious, the view is to die for and the excellent service. Georgia was a wonderful host. She was so helpful and the breakfast was amazing and delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Santorini.
The property was centrally located with a spectacular view. It was spacious and clean. Service was exceptional. The breakfast and pool area were very accessible and just another awesome view of the Santorini sunrise and sunset.
You can see the famous Santorini sunset right from the balcony. There's a classy pool right in front of the unit. The staff are all very friendly. About a 15 minute walk to Fira for us. Quiet location at night.
Close to the airport. walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. staff were friendly and helpful. place was quiet and perfect to relax. thank you! I’ll definitely come back Santorini🤗😘
Loved this hotel! It’s a small hotel that fits the Santorini theme beautifully. Clean, comfortable, cute, and friendly staff. Location is good too, a short walk to Fira. Beautiful!
it was the best place I stayed in Santorini. people who worked there were so nice to us. always asking if we needed anything and helped!! especially Tania, Iani, Lavrita and Eleni
The friendly staff and the beautiful views of the caldera. Accommodation was modern, however it still had the traditional feeling expected of a hotel in Santorini.
