The apartment was uncluttered and nicely decorated. The hosts were great and welcoming. There is a lockbox, but allowed for bags to be dropped off early. The apartment was well positioned for what was needed. To get into town it required a bus trip to the metro and then a journey on the metro (about an hour of travel). Was fairly easy when worked out. There is a supermarket 11 minutes walk away, and a very nice place to eat at night (closed for lunch)_ about 8 minutes walk away.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. Quiet - and the neighbourhood is very pretty and near some lovely restaurants. The area is quite hilly, so not so good if you have mobility issues? We were upgraded to a room with our own private balcony/terrace overlooking the garden. Breakfast was also good, with nice choices from the buffet. The staff were very helpful and spoke very good English. Just right for a 4 day stay in Rome.
