The room was lovely and quiet even though it faces the highway and it was New Year’s Eve. The beds and bedding were great. The bathroom and bathtub were fantastic. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was extensive and tasty.

This was an old style hotel, very clean with a lovely atmosphere in a very pretty location. We didn’t use the restaurant but sat outside and ordered bar snacks which were very tasty.
The rooms are old but quaint, so don’t expect modern conveniences (except the coffee machine).

Beautiful city with the palace "het Loo", and lively center with many places to go to and divergent shopping facilities and many different restaurants and good food. I ate at a great Indian restaurant. The prices for food and drinks and even in the shops are lower than in the West of the Netherlands. The hotel was in a perfect location for visiting family who had moved to the area. The rooms were clean and comfortable. However the breakfast were too expensive for what was on offer, and we were charged everyday when we only had 2 days. When we querried it they refunded us, but only for 1 of us, so I need to chase them up on this at home. We were charged for the small plastic bottles of water in our room everyday which we thought were complimentary (no signage to say otherwise). No kettle, tea bags or milk in our room. Staff were extremely slow to bring us a kettle and extra pillows to our room, we asked 3 times over 36 hours!!! The staff were very friendly and pleasant. The pool is wonderful, used it twice, and our teenage children used the gym and sauna. Room decor was very nice too. Would definitely stay again.
