We visited close friends, so it was a holiday trip but not for sight- seeing. Breda itself has not much to offer, it is a mid-size town with a pedestrian zone in the center but no real highlights. Apart from the usual shops there are some nice restaurants and bars, but you have to know them. It has a very small cozy city center but, depending on what you like, it has enough entertainment. I took the tour in the cathedral and went up to the tower. Walked around the city center, went to the park, stond on the "Hoge Brug"... You can visit the begijnenhof and go to a couple of more museums. Which is totally enough. The biggest advantage of this hotel is that it is by far the cheapest option in Breda. The bed was really comfortable, I liked it a lot. In the next door hotel you can buy some basic refreshments (food and drink) even at night, which was also very convenient.
