The best hotel staff I have ever seen. We had a small issue because of the photos displayed in our Booking.com reservation showing a desk space in the room and apparently not all rooms have this desk. As we were expecting it (my wife had work to do), we asked them if we could change rooms and they sorted out for us by upgrading our room! They did everything to make our stay be an absolute blast. Reserved restaurants, helped us with all our questions and recommended/reserved a truffle hunt + wine tasting in Tuscany that was the PEAK of our trip. I would not think to stay elsewhere whenever I'm back in Florence. Shoutout to Desiré, Lavinia, and the manager Angela! Thank you for everything! (I'm sorry if I forgot anyone's name)

We can’t speak highly enough of Leonardo and the rest of the team. So welcoming, so friendly, and lovely touches like the Happy Hour and helping with our nightmare heavy luggage up the 26 steps. Brilliant location great breakfast - we really can’t recommend this hotel highly enough. We will be back.

You can see that the owners of this hotel group care about their team and treats them well. The rooms are luxurious and in perfect condition. Everything works and whatever you need is just a phone call away. The location is in the heart of Florence. I would come back to Italy, just to stay at Portrait again.
