The location and the price. The hosts where great I,ve stayed here about 10 years ago(different owners then) The weather was nice &sunny close to the beach &town. I finally made here as i had to cancel my trip here in august at the last minute due to unforeseen circumstancies.

Located in a Victorian villa in one of the most beautiful areas on the coast of the Isle of Wight, St Maur is a family run guest house. Beautiful hotel...lovely area. Large comfortable room with equally large bathroom. Plenty of space in the car park or on the street for parking. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. We even saw the wall lizards in the garden. Convenient for walking into town or to the sea front. Ventnor Park just around the corner was lovely.

At the guest house the rooms have a private bathroom. lovely clean room, friendly staff and excellent value fir money. They were very helpful with a late change of booking and diet request

In a quiet location just 3 minutes’ walk from the beach, The Denewood is a family-run guest house in Sandown with free parking and Wi-Fi. We loved our short last-minute getaway at The Denewood. Without doubt, the driving force behind this is the personal and very genuine welcome extended by Sara and Kevin, who moved from London to run their very own B&B in 2019. Their care and attention has transformed it into a cosy, homely venue three minutes from the sand. If you seek an inexpensive, well-connected and welcoming stay on the island, look no further; and yes, the breakfast is precisely as good as others report.

Based in the heart of the popular seaside resort of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight, The St. Leonards Guest House offers free on-site parking, free Wi-Fi access and a bar. It‘s a really nice house. Roms are spacious. There‘s a lounge and a porch for guests to use. Pat is a very caring host. Breakfast was amazing - there are lots of options (all very good), and there was fresh fruit every day.

The Enchanted Manor is a family-run bed and breakfast on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. My husband and I had a wonderful stay at The Enchanted Manor. The hotel was lovely, and the customer service and friendliness from the hotel owner Peta and her staff was second to none. The food was divine - it was a vegetarian menu, and though my husband and I do eat meat at home, we certainly didn't miss it during our stay. The garlic mushrooms on toast for breakfast was a particular highlight! Peta in particuarly was extrememely knowledgable about the Isle and gave lots of good tips and suggested places to visit when we asked - as newcomers to the Isle of Wight we were extremely grateful. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and accomodating, and there were little touches everywhere of just small things to make your stay more comfortable - from DVDs to borrow, to a little fridge in the room to store bottled water and milk for your morning tea, as well as thoughtful bathroom additions. Our booked room was upgraded on arrival to a suite as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and the team thoughtfully gave us a bottle of sparkling wine and a card as well. There was one small issue during our stay - the boiler stopped working properly a few days in to our stay, which led to occaisionally not getting baths or showers when we wanted. However the team tried to resolve as best they could until someone could fix it so we always did manage to get to shower - and they gave us a lovely gift at the end of our holiday to apologise for the hot water issue.
