Located in Lugano, 2.7 km from Exhibition Center Lugano, Bigatt Hotel & Restaurant provides accommodation with a restaurant, a private parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and a bar. We're a family of 4. Stayed one night and regret that we didn't stay longer. Pros: - The hotel is fully renovated with very modern room & facilities while conserving the classic and historic feeling of original site & surroundings. - room was spacious, and the interior was very nice with good lighting conditions. - view was a bit limited lake view due to the original building structure, but maybe in another room, it should have a great lake view, as the hotel stood on the hill over the lake. - had a dinner and a breakfast at the hotel restaurant and food was very nice with at least one star quality, and people there provided really attentive and kind service. - They have dedicated, large size parking building (with a fee) Cons - It's actually a little far from Lugano center, but I knew it and it was not my problem. All in all, it is a much more modern and classy hotel than expected, and I would definitely stay here if I visit Lugano again.

Albergo Hotel Tesserete is a family-run hotel built in 1910 in the centre of Tesserete. It features a large green garden and is only 7 km from Lugano. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Friendly welcome, recommendations for tourist routes, impeccable service. I warmly recommend this hotel. I felt wonderful. Many thanks to Luca and the Besomi family.

Nastanitev Locanda La Pignatta se nahaja v mestu Arogno, 7,9 km od znamenitosti Tematski park Swissminiatur, in ponuja vrt, brezplačno zasebno parkirišče, teraso ter bar. Located 20mns from the lake in the hills, Arogno is a very beautiful and quiet village. We had a great time at Locanda La Pignatta. Perfect welcome with Giovanni. The hotel has recently been renovated. Very clean with good bedding. We dined there, the menu offers quality local dishes. The villagers meet on the beautiful terrace in the evening which gives a very authentic character. Thank you to all the team for this pleasant stay. We'll be back with pleasure.
