Located in Isla Grande, 600 metres from Playa Libre, Centro Ubuntu features a private beach area and views of the sea. Centro Ubuntu exceeded our expectations in every way. The restaurant was great (I wasnt even aware there would be a restaurant!) the staff were so so helpful and helped us organize our transportation to and from the island and there were cute animals everywhere. The room was comfortable and the beach and deck was perfect - we had such a great stay - thank you!

Simple but very elegant design. Great care put into everything. Excellent staff. Snorkeling was great. Kayaks available. Boat trips to nearby islands. Private beautiful beach as well as the deck in the back where there is a beautiful mangrove lagoon where you can see the sunsets and swim with fluorescent plankton if the moonlight isn’t too strong. Excellent breakfasts as were other meals. Would really love to come back one day!

Featuring a restaurant and direct access to a private beach, Hotel Punta Faro offers rooms with free WiFi and air conditioning in Cartagena de Indias. We absolutely loved our 5 nights at Punta Faro. The place is tastefully designed and easily blends in with the natural beauty of the island. There are plenty of deck chairs, loungers and hammocks to enjoy the private beach and the lovely sunsets with a happy hour cocktail in hand. Plenty of water activities to do from diving, snorkelling, kayaking and a night trip to see fitoplankton (magical, not to be missed). We stayed in a garden view room and found it very comfortable and big enough for our family of 3. Great food with fresh fish and seafood everyday. Best of all was the management and the staff who made us feel very welcome and were very receptive to the needs of our small son. We can’t wait to be back.
