I had tv problems and the manager organized help immediately and solved the problem. The cleaning is very good. Overall, the maintenance of the hotel is good. During the week there were several power outages on the island. In this hotel, the business has worked without problems. This indicates a good organization and committed staff. I will gladly come back to the "best hotel" on the island.

Boasting a terrace, bar and views of city, Ocean Suites is situated in Santa Maria, 100 metres from Praia de Santa Maria. Everything was perfect, position, cleaning and staff. Dory was so helpful with me.

Hotel Da Luz has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Santa Maria. This 3-star hotel offers a bar. Everything was amazing! From the staff, facilities, and comfort. The staff was very attentive and helpful with anything that we needed. Breakfast was good with a good variety of food available. At lunchtime, we had tasty and cheep options available. The room had air conditioning, perfectly clean room and beds were comfortable. Slightly further away from the beach but a walkable distance and closer to the locals than to the turistival part of Santa Maria. Very quiet too. We felt at home.

The bed was very comfortable. USB plus made it easy to charge everything. The breakfast and dinners were delicious and a reasonable price to add onto your stay. Staff was really helpful for addressing any issues in a timely fashion and helping to set up activities. They also gave great recommendations for food and things to do. The hotel is walking distance to the beach. Our room overlooked a lot, not nice in itself, but the benefit was we had an unobstructed view of the sunsets!

Situated 300 metres from Parish of Our Lady of Sorrows in Santa Maria, Porto Antigo Hotel BB welcomes guests with a restaurant and bar. Rooms have a TV. The room was great, kept clean and refreshed. The pool was also excellent and very clean. The location was perfect in Santa Maria. All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome for our entire stay.
