Set at an altitude of 2000 metres, this hotel is next to a beautiful lake and 5 ski lifts. Located at the top of the Vall de Núria rack railway. This hotel is beautifully situated in the Valley of Nuria. You take a train to get there and when you enter the valley it is as if you entered a winter wonderland. The hotel is conveniently located very close to the train station so you need only walk a few minutes to get to the front desk. The rooms are modestly decorated which was fine with us. The bathtub was perfect for a bath and the bed was comfortable. We had a nice walk during the day around the hotel area and there were people skiing (however we were not ready to ski). We chose the breakfast and dinner option which we highly recommend. The hotel is in an isolated valley and there are no restaurants close by. The staff at the front desk and in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. We had a very nice time.

We went for a winter hiking trip from Ribes de Freser to Puigmal and stayed here in Queralbs for one of the nights of our hikes. It’s a lovely and cosy stay with incredible views over the mountains. With the cold temperatures, the fire place was a very welcome part of the living room. The hostess, Magna, was incredibly kind and even though my Spanish (or Catalan) isn’t the best - it was easy to communicate with each other! Highly recommend staying here if you are around the area.

Location was great, right off the hiking trail from Queralbs to Nuria. Convenient free parking, private units, beautiful view. Washer and drying rack. Host was very accommodating of an early check in and gave an excellent recommendation for the local restaurant (we went back 3x!). We stayed 2 nights. Beds very comfortable.

Mas La Casanova er staðsett í innan við 4 km fjarlægð frá Queralbs og Ribes de Freser í katalónsku Pýreneafjöllunum og býður upp á ókeypis Wi-Fi Internet. Estelle was an INCREDIBLE host, so lovely, accomodating and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious home cooked dinner and breakfast after being on the road eating out most days for 5 weeks. Her dog was very sweet and we loved meeting him. Plenty of tracks directly around the farmhouse that we utilised to get into Queralbs.
