We really enjoyed our stay at The Lion, Tredington. Mark is great! Very friendly and helpful and also upgraded our room, which was wonderful since we were staying 3 nights. Breakfast was lovely and the food at the pub is delicious. It was a great location for day trips from the Cotswolds to Oxford to Stratford. No regrets!

Possibly the highlight though was getting a pizza delivered to the room - came within 15 minutes and was amazing; far exceeded expectations!

From the Hotel style, to the kindness of the staff, it was all amazing. We have been very lucky, since they upgraded us to a Superior room for free, saying that is something they are used to do whenever it’s possible (subject to availability). Nothing to say about the location: Bibury is gorgeous, and staying in the hotel you could have the possibility to enjoy the place without too many people too! We will come back, for sure. -November 2023-

Breakfast selection is full of varieties. The staff is warm and helpful. Prices are reasonable for dinner but the room price is a bit steep. After all, it is a once-a-while splash. It is worth it.
