Situated in Dunkeld, Tay House is a self catering establishment with views of the River Tay. Tay House has a terrace at the back of the building with river views. Wonderful, we had a great time; beautiful location, nice staff, great room.

Offering free WiFi throughout the property, The Crees Room only NO BAR OR RESTAURANT is situated in Abernethy, 34 km from Discovery Point and 38 km from St Andrews University. It is a really cosy Inn with lovely food, a good selection of drinks and marvelous staff. We liked everything about it, especially that we could reserve a table for the evening prior to spending the night there.

Established in 1924, The Gleneagles Hotel is a prestigious resort in the heart of Scotland. Set within 850 acres, it offers 3 championship golf courses and an ESPA spa, along with a falconry school. Everything!! it was amazing! The room, the grounds, the staff, the restaurants, bars and breakfast were outstanding!!

The Merryburn - Rooms and Courtyard Studios is a few minutes' walk from Dunkeld and Birnam Railway Station at the gateway to the Highlands and is a listed Victorian building. Very cute hotel, room was beautifully decorated and spacious for myself. Well equipped room as well for what you needed for a few nights stay. Very clean too. Property was easy walk to local attractions (Birnam and Dunkeld) and conveniently driveable to surrounding areas. The two staff/owners I met were really lovely.

The Lands of Loyal stands proudly at the foot of Loyal Hill, overlooking the picturesque town of Alyth, 2 golf courses, and the rolling farmland of the Vale of Strathmore. Lovely and helpful staff, amazing decor and absolutely outstanding food!

Situated in 1.5 acres of elevated grounds, 'Knockendarroch Hotel is 5 minutes’ walk from Pitlochry town centre. The hotel is located on top of the hill of the beautiful town of Pitlochry. We stayed at the attic room, which is big, brighty and with views to the mountains. Everything was perfect: king size and comfortable bed and a little space with sofa and table. We liked the most the big salon on the ground floor of the house with its chimney and chesters, where you can relax just reading or drinking something before the dinner. The breakfast was superb, served on the restaurant, quiet and with nice views to the gardens. We stayed there only for one night in our way to Isle of Skye, but we have liked to have spent more time there!

Set 10 km from Castle Menzies, The Grandtully Hotel offers 4-star accommodation in Grandtully and has a terrace, a restaurant and a bar. Lovely little hotel in quiet Grandtully. We enjoyed the food and stay at this small inn, and walked one afternoon along the river bank to the next town as well as visited (the outside at least - as it was closed until 2 PM) the nearby Menzies Castle.

Located in Pitlochry, 32 km from Castle Menzies, Killiecrankie House provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a shared lounge and a restaurant. This was the most personable accomodation that anyone could wish for. I was disappointed that I didn't book in for their 14 course tasting menu for the evening that we stayed there. We had a slightly early departure which they were more than happy to accomodate us with a very delightful & personal breakfast. The decor is delightful as are the owners & their staff.

Located in Aberfeldy, 14 km from Castle Menzies, Letterellan provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a shared lounge. Extremely luxurious, comfortable and clean!
