Low Wood Bay is a very special place set in a magical location. The hotel and staff far exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was a highlight, with attentive and friendly staff led by Chad, one of the most welcoming and well-informed managers we have ever met. He was so kind and seemed genuinely interested in making sure we had a fantastic experience, including sharing tips of some of the best spots to visit in the Lakes. Special mention also to F&B supervisor Michael who was very professional and hard-working. He did not stop! The only problem with Low Wood is they have two exceptional restaurants, which meant we didn't really explore anywhere else- the food was too good! Reception staff were also very welcoming and even organised a balloon and chocolates for our special occasion- this topped off a perfect stay. We were very sad to leave.

Grand destination hotel. Wonderful location right on the lake. Old historical hotel with amazing fruit chandelier and calm quiet atmosphere. The room was easily accessible, no check in/out was required. It was clean and comfortable and would have loved to stay longer. I stayed in a single room which was located in a very peaceful area of the grounds. The room was well presented, the bed was comfy, the tcmf was fantastic and they even had a little fridge. I would definitely stay there again .
