Located in downtown San Cristobal de Las Casas, this 4-star hotel is 3 blocks from San Cristobal Cathedral. The hotel offers a free Wi-Fi zone. We LOVED our 5-night stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, and the hotel itself is amazing. Just off the lobby area, there is a covered courtyard area with large trees in it, and you can have breakfast overlooking the courtyard. In another part of the hotel, there is a library/reading area, and on the third floor, the large terrace has lovely views of the surrounding hills and is full of potted flowers and plants. The artistic details, including many murals and beautiful decorations, add such class to this hotel. The restaurant is very good, and the service - from front desk staff to restaurant staff to the helpful staff members who opened the door to the private parking garage every time we needed to come or go - is outstanding. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation, and we would very happily stay here again.

As if going to San Cristobal was not a great experience in itself, Casa Venus is one of those places where you will feel welcomed right from the start. But my whole experience went far beyond that, as Pan and staff made me feel as a local and a friend, and this was particularly meaningful. Great stay, great people! Totally recommended!

You have the feeling to be in a high end hotel. The stuff is really nice and you can do early checkin and leave your luggage if necessary. I totally loved the Mexican blanket on our bed. They also lend hair dryers. 10 minutes by foot from the centre. Perfect!
