We picked this place on a whim last minute and had no idea what we were doing, but with three children, the idea of staying overnight in a zoo was irresistible. We found the beds comfortable, the location charming, if a bit off the beaten path (there was plenty of parking), and the breakfast filling. But the opportunity to sleep near birds was amazing. We LOVED the zoo. The animals had decent sized habitats, companions, and places to hide or play. It was a delight to walk the trails and we kept being surprised by the breadth of animal types there! We could even see some from our bedroom and breakfast table!

My family loved the baked goods and meats and the bite size sweet dishes. Great service at the check in and check out desk, fast and professional. The pool was clean and large and we loved that the water was perfect. The restaurant has amazing and affordable and the food was delicious. The service at the restaurant was great as well as in the lobby bar.
