This is the second time we come to the Furusund hotel and we are looking forward to coming back again. We have always done a lot of trips in almost all other European countries and we find that in Sweden, outside Stockholm, finding hotel choices of high standard is sadly very hard, they tend to be extremely overpriced, come linked with "experiences" that are mostly about drinking in well-decorated bar areas or sharing a spa with people who are drinking (drinking alcohol in the spa seems to be a highly valued activity) and we usually regret going. This is not the case here. This place is simple and beautiful. Elegant but no frills. Has everything you need (including a spa area if you are so inclined) in the nicest location. It is clean, the wifi works well, and it is overall a very relaxing experience. The best part is the food. Best breakfast ever, really pleasant. Last time we had dinner also (this time we were busy somewhere else) and I still remember it.

Our room was spacious and clean. The breakfast was satisfying, the staff was friendly and helpful. The location is great

This hotel was perfect for our weekend retreat. While located in the beautiful countryside, it's still easy to reach from Stockholm center. The room was spacious and nicely decorated, and the bed was extra comfy! We especially loved the breakfast buffet made from local organic ingredients.

Este hotel frente al mar se encuentra junto a una fortaleza de 1735 y ofrece vistas impresionantes a Solöfjärden y al archipiélago de los alrededores. We wanted a break from hard travel and are so glad we chose Fredriksborg. The rooms are very simple with a terrific outlook. The location is remarkable, on a hill above the deep water channel going in and out of Stockholm. The first time we saw a huge ship gliding by above eye level was a happy surprise. The dinner served at their restaurant was superb. But the best of all is the staff. They take great pride in the history of the location and its role in the defense of Stockholm in centuries past. Pontus (spelling ?) went out of his way to show us the property as well as to drive us to the ferry for the return to Stockholm. We were very appreciative.

El Marholmen está rodeado de naturaleza y se encuentra a 350 metros de una playa privada en el archipiélago de Roslagen. El hotel alberga un restaurante. Awesome position on the island with possibilities to relax, but also hike, cayac or just take it easy and go for a walk.

Set in Stockholm’s beautiful archipelago, first-class hotel and conference centre Fågelbrohus offers a historic setting in Värmdölandet, just a 35 minute drive from the centre of Stockholm. Really nice outdoor pool and great that kids are not allowed in the evening shifts!. The food was also very good, and they serve a very complete breakfast. The staff was also very kind and helpful.

El Åtellet Hotell se volvió a abrir en abril de 2009 y está situado en la desembocadura del río Norrtälje, a unos pasos del archipiélago y el mar. Good breakfast, clean and comfortable rooms and nice stuff.
