We had a wonderful stay at Sonio Hotel! The experience was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. We can't wait to return for another visit! Highly recommended!

We like everything about the Minoa Palace Resort. We stayed in the section by the ocean. The room is large, with a large balcony overlooking a pond with river rocks—very zen feeling. Loud guests outside the door can be heard, but that would be the only problem. Mid-June not too busy. Beautiful: pool, beach, sunsets, breakfast. We have never before been so welcomed: bottle of wine with large bottle of mineral water and 2 energy bars with a welcome note. Upon departure 5 days later a knock on the door: a package of a jar of Crete sea salt and a box of sage tea from the mountains and a thank you note. A complimentary breakfast booked in advance at their upper patio with service. We should have taken advantage of visiting the other part of the hotel across the street because they had activities and entertainment on certain days but we were too busy visiting areas of the island. The resort town has lots of restaurants and shops selling local souvenirs. Just off the main highway about 20 min drive to Chania. We attended the “Wine Degustation,” if you can afford it—such a pleasant evening. With each course the Sommelier brings a bottle of wine and pours at least 3 ounces and discusses each wine selection. This against a stunning backdrop of an amazing sunset on the 2nd floor patio of where breakfast is served. Great choice of music!! Old jazz! The pool is huge. Front desk staff amazing—every one of them!!!!

We loved absolutely everything. Family room has lots of space, resort is beatiful, pools are big, lots of sunbeds, lovely beach, food is superb! Lots of choiches and great variety for vegetarians. Crew is really attending and friendly. Felt quite private and not crowded. Lidl is next door if you need something. Loved our stay and regret that we didn't prolong it.

Aamiainen oli erinomainen ja kattava. Jopa kuohuviiniä tarjolla veloituksetta joka aamu. Hotellin sijainti oli erittäin hyvä. Hotelli oli suoraan rannalla ja lähellä palveluita. Hotellin ranta ei kuitenkaan ollut mikään kummoinen. Tosin lomamme aikana tuuli ja vesi oli korkealla, joten saattoi johtua myös siitä. Saimme huonekorotuksen häämatkan kunniaksi. Henkilökunta oli erittäin ystävällisiä ja avuliaita.

First of all our room was upgraded. It’s connected to the beach so you can choose the pool or the sea. The breakfast area is lovely next to the pool or the roof terrace which over looks the beach, it’s a nice way to start off the day. It’s just off the Main Street but is so quiet. The staff can’t do enough for you. The rooms are cleaned every day - which you can also opt out of. There’s two different pools on each side of the complex. Plenty of sun beds. Little shop on site. My girlfriend had a cake delivered to our room on her birthday which made her day (thank you)! It was just what we needed!

Buffetaamiainen ja muut ruokailut monipuolisia ja maukkaita. Hyvä palvelu ja siisteys buffetravintolassa. Iso hotellialue ja runsas ohjelmatarjonta aikuisille ja lapsille. Iso allasalue ja rannan läheisyys. Kunnon ilmastointi huoneessa. Saimme positiivisena yllätyksenä ison (kolmion) yhteismajoituksen lastenlapsiperheen kanssa ja varaamamme aamiaismajoitus muutettiin ilman lisämaksua all in clusiveen.
