The room itself and the view from it were lovely, the rooftop is a lovely place to watch the hot air balloons from. The best thing and what I will remember is the kindness and eagerness from the staff to help make your trip as nice as possible. We had many conversations with them where they recommended us places, seemed interested in our travels. They even let us check in early and check out late at our convenience with no extra cost. A really friendly atmosphere.

The location was good, right in the centre but away from the main road, basic room but only used it as a base as we were out every day.

ballon is a ripe off, especially if what you have booked did not materialised, you will be riped off even further when attempt to get the next day and so on, price becomes rediculous and the mafia gang up to suck your money, can be as much as EUR 500 per person
everything else is okay in terms of other tourist attractions... just mind the day and night contrasting temperature... hot at day and freezing at night

The only thing that wasn't perfect was that the balloons couldn't fly due to weather. I would recommend giving yourself enough time for rescheduling the balloon rides- 1 or 2 extra mornings so that you have a better chance of getting to go up. Unfortunately, the balloons won't fly if there is wind, and no one can control Morther Nature!

People are very nice and friendly but be aware of the kind of hotel you are booking. If you are looking for cave style hotel like Carus then be aware of mold and moist in it some might not have ventilation although the one we went to last year was well ventilated and we were ok. This year we thought we get a different hotel and that was a mistake. It was moist and moldy and no ventilation in the room so we were such the whole time and 4 day after we left.

Beautiful and vibrant city!
Beautiful and vibrant city! We stayed 3 days but I wish we had been there for at least one more day in order to take advantage of all the activities. The city is very walkable and compact but there are hills.
Lodging: There are many cave hotels scattered throughout the hills and are quaint. We stayed at the Elite Cave Suites which was clean and efficient. I looked at a few other hotels and they appeared to offer the same things; rooms built into the mountain, breakfast on a open terrace etc. Some even had pools. All offer to book your tours and had discounts which was helpful.
Eating: There are many, many restaurants to choose from that are within walking distance of the hotels. We ate at 3 of them and all served delicious food and regional specialties. We had a person with a food allergy in our group and each restaurant was helpful in providing information on ingredients in the dishes. The specialty of the region is a dish baked in a clay pot and then cracked open at the table for you to eat. Delicious and filling.
Activities: balloon rides, ATV riding, horseback riding, hiking, tours, Hamam experiences.
This is a great base for doing local tours in Cappadocia to the surrounding archeological and historical sites. We had rented a car and drove to many of the sites ourselves but a guide would have been useful for history and background.
All in all a beautiful place that was clean and welcoming. Highly recommend and would return tomorrow!

We loved the rock formations, cave dwellings, and churches; they're truly fascinating. The area is touristy, so you'll find good amenities, but it also means you'll encounter influencers focused on taking fake photos, which can be entertaining yet irritating. However, if you have a car (which I recommend), you can escape the touristy spots and explore more interesting and secluded sites.

Goreme is a perfect place to stay.
Goreme is a perfect place to stay. Very walkable and only a 20-minute walk away from one of the famous the UNESCO parks. If you head off the main strip (which is quite touristy and busy) you will find plenty of fabulous restaurants, Potato Cafe, Inci Restaurant and the Adylini Cave Hotel,
The hotel caves are fabulous, and the highlight was the hot air balloons. We chose Voyager Balloons, and they did not disappoint.
We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and it was perfect, IF you are a hiker you will love it too.
The location of the hotel . Very close to the view point just the step away up the little hill and you don’t have to pay to go there since they charge money to go there . The stuff , very kind and willing to do anything you need ,very caring alway checking if everything is ok . I appreciate so much how much he cared for me . The breakfast was yummy , the room was very beautiful, with amazing views of the hot air balloon in the morning. I really think Arif cave hotel is the best hotel in Goreme. I can’t wait to go back again very soon
The staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful with good English and connections all around town for various services. It is hard to compare it to other hotels because we have never slept in a cave hotel! The shower pressure was excellent. The view was incredible and there was no need to take a trip to the tall vantage point in Cappadocia to see the balloons at sunrise. They came so close to the hotel that you could hear them firing up and clearly see the passengers. Any closer would have been downright dangerous.
It was very nice. Inside the hotel there is Kaira Rooftop, a known rooftop in Göreme with live music at sunset. In the terrace you have a good view of the balloons but next to the hotel there is the entrance to the “sunset point” you can go there in the morning and have an even better view of the balloons. Buffet and drinks were nice. Our room was very good, specially the bathroom with bathtub. If it isn’t your first time in Cappadocia you can probably get another place for a cheaper price with a good location also.
The cave room was big and very well decorated: modern with touch of traditional turkish design, comfy bed and complementary coffee, tea, water was great. The room had a great atmosphere!
The terrace was super nice with a view over all the town.
The breakfast was also really good with many choices both western and turkish style.
The swimming pool in the Spa was bigger than expected and also in a cave, great to relax after a hike in Cappadocia!
Great location right in the center of Goreme.
Everything was perfect! Mr. Murat (the owner) had been in contact with us ever since we booked and Zaki from reception was extremely kind, helpful and took good care of us once we arrived! We didn’t have to worry about any of our balloon / tour bookings as it was all arranged by the hotel.
Overall I had an amazing experience at Guzide Cave Hotel. Would recommend it to anyone!
Once again huge thanks to Mr. Murat and especially Zaki for the wonderful experience we had at Guzide Cave hotel :)
We booked two rooms in Cappadocia Seki Cave Hotel based on their good reviews and their close proximity to the balloons take off and landing site.
This bed and breakfast hotel offers large superior cave rooms which are a cozy and warm with the best views.
It was cold outside with strong winds but nice and toasty inside.
Breakfast is home baked and prepared fresh daily.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Overall a great stay. Perfect for everyone unless one has mobility issues with steps.
Our stay at Mosaic Cave Hotel in Cappadocia was very memorable. Mr. Mustafa and his team were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring our comfort throughout. The hotel's location provided beautiful views from height. The delicious breakfast and the hotel's assistance in booking airport transfers, hot air balloon rides, and tours were added perks. For a memorable short stay in Cappadocia, I highly recommend Mosaic Cave Hotel.
If you want to experience a cave hotel, this is one of better choices! Located in center of Goreme and in higher area of the town, visitors can view the rocks from terrace or walk up to viewpoint for sunset. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts every morning. Upon our arrival, the host and his staff were super friendly and provided sufficient info about day tours or Turkish night that we could select to join.
Very authentic cave hotel with great location, amazing panorama and incredible staff! They helped us organizing all our trips, including hot air balloon flight. They're very nice and helpful, ensuring you could have your perfect vacation in Cappadocia! They just got a very nice puppy, who immediately became my children's favorite playmate.
Family run hotel with very friendly owners. Amazing hospitality, good location, great atmosphere, delicious breakfast. This is one of the best places I've ever stayed in. The view from the roof is one of the best in Cappadocia so don't miss the balloons in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Totally recommend Koza Cave Hotel.
Family-owned hotel.
Personal attention given by Irfan, Ebrahim, Murtaza and Ahmed and their mama.
Breakfast was amazing and to sit in a heated bubble with the best views of Gerome was a bonus.
They arranged all our tour in Cappadocia, and we were not disappointed.
Will highly recommend this cave hotel to family and friends
Amazing suite! I did not expect everything that I got at the Vintage Cave Hotel, and wow was I surprised. I stayed in the Zeus suite, and it was fantastic on all fronts. The size of the bathroom was just insane! Do yourself a favor and stay here while in Cappadocia. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well.
Hotel is very good and we stayed in biggest suit they have so it was perfect. Located very close to centre, taxies and close to hill for goreme view. Staff was very helpful. Breakfast is not buffet but they serve you nice and enough. Cave rooms are good experience.
This is in a wonderful location in Goreme. This is a beautiful cave hotel with spacious cozy rooms and balconies. The staff has excellent communication and are extremely helpful with planning excursions/tours. The hamam treatment was wonderful as was the breakfast.
Goreme is a small village and the hotel was perfectly located in the cave area. It’s important to note that the entrance is not on a main road and you have to walk down a few steps to get to the main entrance. The breakfast was very nice each morning.
Its kind of a luxury stay on budget price. The experience of staying in cave hotel was there and we also loved the terrace setup where we could take beautiful photos of morning balloons.
The staff are all nice, good breakfast options too.
The staff was so helpful, and answered all our questions kindly. They have a great terrace where you can watch all goreme during sunset and balloons in the morning. If I go to Goreme again I would prefer the Karadut cave hotel.
Great cave hotel with spacious rooms, excellent service, and great views of balloons and sunset with perfect location in the heart of the city. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Cappadocia.
The Gedik Cave Hotel had everything we were looking for for our stay in Cappadocia. The cave-room was incredible, clean, nice and comfy. The staff managing the hotel was extremely nice and super helpful. 100 % recommended
Best cave hotel in cappadocia. Excellent location, right in the centre. Great view from terrace. Walkable distance to the popular restaurants in Goreme.
