Full of children and fun, this is the centre of Copenhagen and you should not miss it. They manage to keep the children happy with the rollercosters and the more mature with the gardens. They have managed to have a bit of everything for everyone.
The Saturday night light show was ok, maybe not for me however the live concert and singing was fantastic and kept the crowd on their feet. The night ended with fireworks and impressive.
Was not my intention to visit however glad I did.

There are a number of entrances to Tivoli so don't worry if 1 seems packed. We were there for Christmas and so the decorations were excellent. Sometimes it is difficult to get places to eat, so if you are looking to eat lunchtimes or evenings, it may be better to book.
Biggest Tip, play Gallopen it is the best and great fun. Sanitise your hands afterwards though , you will see why.

You will always find a CROWD in front of these gardens....
You will always find a CROWD in front of these gardens....and this is because they are the oldest amusement gardens in the world!!! Not because of the rides, or the grounds as nowadays you do find bigger and more challenging amusement parks. But this one IS in the middle of the city, which is ad advantage, you don t have to go too far or take trains, or buses....
If you have kids, you better take the Family ticket pack, because otherwise you will feel guilty you didnt take them to this! I came here as an adult, so I guess I left the rides out, and some of them are quite challenging even for the brave! Independently of this, there are nice restaurants of all types of cuisine on the Tivoli gardens grounds.
From fastfood to Michelin star quality, you just have to be in Tivoli Gardens! I advice to go in the afternoon as you can catch the theatres presentations and the Light and music show which we saw (and probably changes with seasons) whch was spectacular!
It gives a magic touch to the otherwise seemingly "kitchy decor" but amusement parks do play with what reality is. And it would not be an amusement park if it was perfectly decorated with subdued colors, would it?
Tivoli Gardens is an institution, and I liked to visit it and know more about it.

The hotel is in a great location, and it's easy to access - only a 10-minute walk from Copenhagen Central Station. The staff was friendly and the room was very clean. It's a walking distance from Tivoli Gardens and there are a few bus stops nearby.
Cabinn also offers bikes for rent if you're keen to explore like the locals.
Close to station but no noise from trains and traffic. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Opposite Tivoli Gardens and Food Hall. Very comfortable hotel. Would recommend.
The location is okay, close to Tivoli gardens for who is interested in going there.
The breakfast is really good with a high variety and really quality food. People managing the breakfast time are really nice.
Appreciated the luggage room which was offered to us free of charge and it was locked.
The bike rental at a reasonable price.
I liked the style of the hotel in general.
The “recycling” approach of the hotel.
No surprises, hotel and rooms were the same as on booking photos. Room was small, but for the price worth.
Railway station and Tivoli gardens is quite close, easy to get to the hotel by public transport from the airport.
Very centrally located. The staff were friendly and informative. Room was of good standard, very clean, with tea/coffee facility. Easy access to train, bus and water bus and 15min walk to Tivoli Gardens.
The hotel was busy the weekend we stayed as the marathon was on but we still felt very comfortable and had no problem getting a table for breakfast.
Great view from the restaurant for breakfast, breakfast itself was also great and had a good selection of hot and cold food.
Staff were all friendly
Hotel was around a 5mins walk to the nearest train/metro station which made travelling to places easy. Tivoli Gardens also in walking distance. (C. 15mins)
Location was really convenient- walking distance.from main attractions (close to Tivoli gardens, main train station and metro/bus stops). Numerous restaurants in the area. Great decoration, pleasant and beautiful boutique hotel.
It was a cozy hotel with an historical feel, perfectly located in the heart of Copenhagen and walking distance to Tivoli Gardens. The bathroom was beautiful and very comfortable, with great water pressure and hot water in the shower.
Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Have stayed in the hotel previously and enjoyed my stay which is why I returned. Hotel is well situated very handy for Tivoli Gardens / food hall, and Central Station Copenhagen. Took approximately 15 minutes to travel by train from Airport to Hotel. Will definately be back. Thank you.

Tivoli Gardens is a place to spend even a whole day
Tivoli Gardens is a place to spend even a whole day. If you want to avoid the crowds, go in in the afternoon, at least 2-3 hours before the start of the concert. The public transport is very reliable (if you get directions from google maps, even the schedule is perfectly held), however it is best to walk around the city (the major attractions are relatively near to each other, you see everything by foot for 3 days by walking around 7-8 km daily).
