Spotless. All newly done. It’s really a beautiful place to stay and a very welcome overnight stop. Lots of beautiful flowers, good breakfast, restaurant next door that was ok for a meal. Nicest dog friendly hotel we have stayed in.

Situated in Corcelles-les-Arts and with Hospices Civils de Beaune reachable within 10 km, L'Aubergiste features a terrace, allergy-free rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Clean, tidy, charming. In a lovely quiet traditional small village. Host was excellent. Food (menu de jour) was great. And wine recommendations (local champagne and a red) were perfect. Sadly we had to leave early so didn’t get to sample breakfast.

It is in a lovely village with basically no amenities so you do need a car, but this is a given with this kind of accommodation. Alternatively, you can rent e bikes through the property and this seems like a good option as well. But, the house and rooms are absolutely charming and the host Felix is a great guy. Get the picnic dinner (and a bottle of wine) and enjoy it al fresco, it is so worth it.
