Literally right next to the JR station. Breakfast was yummy as well. (Beef tendon stew amazed me!) but I wish they could have more choices too. Public bath was great but its indoor so its a little stuffy. However they have few windows above so after opened window it felt less stuffy. Steam room is great ~ strong steam and hot enough. Room is really comfortable and the amenities they provided are good quality.

Location is lovely even though it's not the most convenient spot but it's located in a very quiet neighbourhood. It's located in the uphill so scenery is really nice. The apartment is beautifully furnished and it's very tidy, clean and comfortable. The bath tub and sauna are amazing! We spent quite a long time there HAHA as the hot tub has a special function to keep pumping hot water in without overflowing! They definitely make the stay very special and memorable. The bedding is comfortable and soft. They have all the amenities ready for you to use and there are guides everywhere to assist you to turn on the electronics. They have slippers for both indoor and outdoor as well. The interior is lovely and of Japanese colour. It's a very special stay for us.

The host, Stefano, was extremely friendly and chatted to us for a while about the local area - he then offered us some of his homemade bread! There is a really nice natural onsen and izakaya nearby - so it was the perfect location to stay to experience rural Japan. Highly reccommended.

The price was affordable for the range of services provided including a comprehensive breakfast and various smaller amenities including pajamas, toiletries, soaking salts, etc. Service was great and my room was clean and comfortable. It was also quiet despite being next to a busy commercial arcade. I highly recommend this hotel and plan to stay again in the future.

Läget var bra, svårt att hitta. Google Maps visar att boendet är i kumamoto castle, booking.com visade hela området. Det blev lite pill och knåp innan vi lyckades med att köra adressen på japanska in i Google Maps som vi fick en träff och kunde hitta rätt. Boendet i sig var väldigt enkelt, nu sov vi mer eller mindre bara där men det räckte gott och väl för oss.

We liked the crab buffet and drinks. The hotel is large and many accessories. Though we can't see Aso mountaun this time due to Typhoon, the view from restaurant and room would be beautiful.

Everything. From the moment you walk in, the staff is very attentive and cheerful. Everyone smiles. I forgot that I booked dinner too so It was nice surprise for me. Dinner was interesting, you have 70min to dine in and this is due to free flowing alcohol. Just wow. Havnt seen that in any Japanese hotels before! It was bonus for sure! Food was good. Didn't use the onsen but they have 3 of them. Many different facilities and only 4min away driving from the station (I took a taxi $6). The best was the view!! My room was facing opposite way from Mt Aso and I actually preferred it coz it was not only stunning but also you can watch sunset and train passing by from this side which was a highlight for me. Room was very spacious and the Tanami area was great. Love it a lot

Nice onsen and good food. The staff is very helpful, Mt Aso was closed for a few weeks before we arrived. She emailed booking.com to inform us on that night that the next morning is open. We managed to get there.
