The hotel is very much near to the ferry terminal and also it is walking distance to the station. There are restaurants around the hotel. You can see the night view of Miyajima and come to the hotel. Also the luggage drop off is available.

The location is very convenient— just across the port. The amenities are great. The onsen is amazing. The staff are very nice and thoughtful. Located along Hiroshima's shoreline opposite Miyajima Island, known for World Heritage Site, Itsukushima Shinto Shrine, Aki Grand Hotel offers western and Japanese style rooms, free parking and 4... The staff were so friendly and helpful even when the language barrier popped up . The views are breathtaking over to Miyajima island - and they have a private onsen that I booked at 6am to see the sunrise over the island - amazing ! The hotel onsen is great and the food is great too . Shuttle bus to local train station and ferry port which was handy . Love this place , had two nights , one day exploring Hiroshima , one day on the island . If I ever return to Japan , this will be my first choice hotel in the area !

This was a pleasant surprise of a stay. So charming and private. Loved our host Kousuke and his attention to detail. Felt very well taken care of and appreciated the curated feel of the stay. The lovely breakfast was a bonus. Conveniently located to sites of interest on Miyajima. Would love to come again.
