In a quiet and scenic location at 1,200 metres above sea level, Hotel-Restaurant Siesta Balea is located in Piscul Negru on the Transfagarasan National Road. The location is perfect if you want to hike or just to enjoy Balea Lake. Best price for a 3 stars Hotel in the area. Everything was perfect. Very clean, super quite and the staff were very helpful and kind. You can order in the restaurant by 22 which is a very good option. I highly recommend!

Rooms come with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.... Awesome hotel, very modern and welcoming staff - very delicious menu and comfy modern rooms. Also enjoy3d the ATV ride through some of the most breathtaking mountain trails to Shangrila valley of the Bears. The combination of the gorgeous lake with serene views and clean mountain water and old growth forest is unforgettable.

Such a quiet and unique location off the Transfagarasan road - which is a great place to see some European Brown Bears. Staff were lovely and friendly (especially the dogs) - the room was on the smaller side, but super comfortable and well designed - the bathroom especially! We also had a lovely balcony overlooking the forest.

Surrounded by the lush garden, Casa Domneasca is located in the center of Curtea de Argeș. It offers an on-site restaurant serving international dishes, an indoor swimming pool and a gym. Very nice room and overall decor. Eating dinner and breakfast on the hotel's porch was great.

Hotel Piscul Negru - Transfagarasan stoji sredi gorovja Făgăraș v Karpatih, ob sloviti cesti Transfagarasan. Location in the heart of the Transfarahashan, an ideal place for an overnight break or for exploring the beautiful trail. Staff was great and breakfast is great value for money. Also was very helpful and honest to send a forgotten item all the way to Bucharest. Highly recommend!

The Posada Hotel complex is located in Curtea de Arges near the Master Manole Monastery and has been completely modernized in the 2021. The food options provided were great! Would definitely recommend for future visits!
