Le Vakkaru Maldives est un établissement tropical luxuriant situé dans les eaux cristallines de l’atoll de Baa, réserve de biosphère de l’UNESCO. My stay at Vakkaru was perfection in every sense of the word. Indeed, everything exceeded my expectations from the beginning to the end of my stay (the location, the view, the staff, the food, the spa, etc.). I had an amazing butler (Anvar), who was extremly helpful during the entirety of my stay at Vakkaru : Anvar is a very nice, friendly, eloquent, helpful, punctual, and overall professional butler. He was always present and made everything to make my stay at Vakkaru the best possible. Moreover, I would also like to specifically thank Charito (the manager at ONU) and Lay (at the spa/massage) who also were amazingly good ! In conclusion, Vakkaru is a more than excellent resort and highly recommend You to go there for a luxurious holiday in the Maldives.

Le Dusit Thani Maldives est un établissement luxueux proposant 94 villas et résidences dans l’atoll de Baa, la seule réserve de biosphère de l’UNESCO aux Maldives. It is a small Island, so you can reach all facilities easily with the provided bicycles. The food is exceptional, especially at the Seagrill and Benjarong. We stayed in the ocean villa with pool, where it was really quiet and the ocean view was amazing. You can go snorkelling with provided vests right from your villa. We got to see reef sharks and eagle rays. Dusit Thani offers a wide Ränge of activities - we went for a couple of dives and we always were in small dive groups. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, we felt very comfortable at all times. The great service started at the airport, where the employees pick you up. Checkin is done at the Dusit Thani airport lounge, so the holiday starts immediately when you reach the island. Overall a great experience. We will definitely come back.

This was a bucket list, 50th birthday treat and was everything I hoped for and more! The staff were fantastic-from arrival in Male, to seaplane, to boat arrival at coco palm, and every day until we left! Service was exceptional and everyone greeted you with a smile and how are you. It felt very genuine too and not forced. Highlights were our amazing lagoon villa which was maintained daily by Kashim (he added extras for my birthday too!) and the lovely Saeed at the restaurant who noticed small things like how I liked my tea! The turtle sanctuary was informative and the volunteers were just lovely and even the gift shop owner was great to talk to. And I swam with a reef shark and a stingray who were just hanging out in the lagoon! Wow!

A very cozy guest house with kind and helpful personnel. Nice breakfasts. Tidy rooms with daily cleaning. Pick-up and drop-off to the beach, which was extremely convenient. The staff did its best to fulfill guests’ expectations and make their stay as comfortable as possible.

We went to the WESTIN Mirandhoo for 10 days at the beginning of May, with a trip to the underwater restaurant of another resort (exceptional, but that's not the subject), Let's start with the positives: -The big pluses of this hotel for us are the very high-end quality of the overwater villa with swimming pool that we had. -The kindness, availability and competence of all the members of the team: full of kind attentions, speed of service, they do everything they can to make our stay pleasant -The top gym The point they could improve is, in our opinion, greater clarity on the HB and FB packages (half board and full board), on what this includes or not. In fact you have a credit of +-114$ per meal, knowing that most dishes are between $40 and $50, you quickly exceed the quota. We think that even without splurging, if you have cocktails and wine or beer during meals, you can expect to exceed the package by +-$2000. This is still important information for future customers, think about it Full Inclusive which may include some drinks (not all). The food is quality, even if relatively repetitive when you stay long enough, but all resorts have the same problem. Perhaps a different lunch menu and evening menu would be an idea to explore.
